Open Beltane 2016

We would like to welcome you to our open Beltane ritual on May the 1st. This will be our 10th open Beltane ritual, we hope you can be part of it!

What is Beltane?

Beltane is one of the major sabats in the Pagan wheel of the year calender. During this time of year it is time for rebirth of the life that is Gaia. We bring back the fertility with in the ground for our crops as well as within our selves. This is the time of growth so look into your self and learn what it is that you would like to grow, and grow it.

"Beltane (/ˈbɛl.teɪn/) is the anglicised name for the Gaelic May Day festival. Most commonly it is held on 1 May, or about halfway between the spring equinox and the summer solstice. Historically, it was widely observed throughout Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man." 

Our day of Beltane will begin at 11am at Lost lake park located at 16385 N Friant Rd, Friant, CA 93626

Join us at the far end of the park to the left where the road curves around. 

Plan on staying all day. 

BBQ pot luck, bring a meat for you and a side or dessert to share. 

Children are welcome and encouraged. We will have a few children activities, speaking of activities. we are planning to following. 

Meditation tent
Free tarot reading, healings, ans cleansings
Join Me (Melissa) as I take you on an herb walk to learn about wild herb magick and medicine. 
May pole dance and drum circle.
